Option 1: High School Option
(for high school seniors and graduates within
two years)
- LCC
application for admission
- 21 ACT composite score or 1400 SAT
combined score
- High school Algebra, Biology, and Chemistry
with C grade or better
- 2.5 high school GPA
- Meet with a Health Careers Counselor
(440.525.7200) to review program prerequisites
and requirements and receive applications
- Application to the Massage Therapy
program
- Application to the State Medical Board
of Ohio for a Preliminary Education Number
Upon successful completion of the above criteria,
the applicant will be admitted into the program
on a space-available basis. Students must
complete HLTH 1210 (Medical Terminology)
with a C grade or better prior to enrolling
in their first health technology course.

- The following courses, or equivalent
courses at other regionally accredited
colleges, must be completed with a C
or better:
1. HLTH 1210 Medical Terminology
2. BIOL 2210 Anatomy and Physiology I (has prerequisite of high school chemistry
or CHEM 1100 and high school Biology within the last five years; or BIOL
1200)
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
in program applicable courses
Upon successful completion of the above
criteria, the applicant will be admitted
into the program on a space-available basis.
