Dr. Marilyn Jones is the Associate Provost for Student & Learning
Support Services at Lakeland Community College. Dr. Jones oversees
the Learning Center, the Library, Part-time Faculty Affairs, Faculty
Professional Development, Assessment and Curriculum Management.
Dr. Jones earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies from Brown
University. She has published extensively with topics ranging from
Hispanic language to strategic planning to assessment to distance
learning. Dr. Jones graduated with a B.A. from Chatham College summa
cum laude. She was named to Phi Beta Kappa at Chatham College.
