The College faculty and staff
are dedicated to providing an environment rich
in opportunities
for you to reach your maximum potential. We work
hard and take pride in developing programs and
services that are aimed at increasing the quality
of student life at Lakeland.
These programs and services include:
• Over
two dozen clubs and organizations students may
join
• An active Student Government to represent student
concerns to the College
• The Campus Activities Board (CAB) to provide social,
educational and entertainment events
• Seven intercollegiate sports and over 15 intramural
sports, as well as the Athletic and Fitness Center
(AFC)
• Career and placement services for both currently
enrolled students and graduates
• Affordable child care
• Financial aid and scholarship programs that assist
in making a Lakeland education affordable
• A wide variety of safety outreach programs
As you can see, there is much going on at Lakeland,
and all these services are available to both our
day and evening students. We strongly encourage
you to get involved. Together, we can make your
time at Lakeland a much more fulfilling and memorable
experience.
