The
Corrections Academy is not offered
at Lakeland. However, upon successful
completion of the Ohio Department
of Rehabilitation and Corrections
Academy (and Lakeland’s
paperwork), you will receive
nine (9) semester
hours of credit: CRMJ1211/Community
Corrections (3); Technical Electives
(3); CRMJ2239/Criminal Justice
Practicum (3). There is no fee
required to formalize this procedure,
but you must make an appointment
with Counselors Ken Sharkey or
Kimberly Brown, 440-525-7200. All
decisions regarding initial authorization
of academic credit for in-service
training will be completed by chair/program
director.
