The mission of COLLEGE TECH PREP in Ohio is to efficiently
and effectively educate students for participation in
technology-related careers through a competency-based
program of combined secondary and higher education experiences.
Eight
students were recognized at the College Tech Prep Senior
Recognition Program held on May 1, 2008, as this year’s College
Tech Prep scholarship winners. Each student received
a $2,000 scholarship to attend Lakeland Community College
and pursue their College Tech Prep pathway. Scholarships
are awarded based on academic achievement and teacher recommendations. The
recipients were John Aquila, Computer, Networking & Electronic
Technology from Lake Shore Compact; Michael Critzer,
CISCO Computer Networking, from Auburn Career Center; Corey
Keever, Internet Programming & Hardware, from Auburn
Career Center; Matthew Kulbis, CAD Engineering Technology,
from Lake Shore Compact; Evan Loftus, CISCO Computer
Networking, from Auburn Career Center; Nicholas Spang,
Computer Information Systems, from Lake Shore Compact; Corey
Watt, Computer, Networking & Electronic Technology,
from Lake Shore Compact; and Michael Young, CAD Engineering
Technology, from Lake Shore Compact.

Articulation
Agreements
Lakeland
Community College and the Tech Prep school districts have formed
an articulation agreement to receive credit for specific coursework
to pursue your Tech Prep field of study. The following
Tech Prep programs have developed Articulation Agreements: Allied
Health, Biotech, CAD/Engineering, Computer Information Systems,
CNET, Interactive Media, and Practical Nursing. Contact
