Lakeland offers senior citizens 60 years or older the opportunity to audit credit courses on a space-available basis and have the tuition waived. Senior citizens are responsible for purchasing course materials and books in addition to the general, lab and service fees.
To take advantage of the senior citizen tuition waiver, a senior citizen must complete a Senior Citizen Audit Form [pdf] and be certified as eligible for this service.
Once certified as eligible, seniors may register during Senior Citizen Credit Tuition Waiver Registration dates.
In addition to the Senior Citizen Credit Tuition Waiver program, Lakeland's Center for Lifelong Learning offers a wide variety of noncredit learning experiences for older adults.
