A rather unique little flower appears under jack pines in late spring. Named gay blade, it can be difficult to capture in a photograph due to its small size and shape. Dim lighting under the pines creates other problems. Using available light and being restricted to limited depth of field and a slow shutter speed, I was able to get an acceptable image but it is not sharp. I took the next picture with flash.
