On a quiet summer night I was enjoying the full moon so much I thought I would take a picture. I used a teleconverter with a telephoto lens for more range. To create this composite, the moon was resized and then pasted in along an arc. A telescope would allow a much closer view with more detail but this is not bad for a hand held exposure braced on my deck railing.
