On the last day of the San Diego trip we decided to take a trip to a National Seashore. As always one can find plenty of biological subjects. I used a telephoto lens with teleconverter for this picture of brown pelicans preening. Soon after I took this image clouds rolled in, the light levels dropped, and it was time to pack the equipment away.
