Get credit for your past academic and work experience and earn a degree even faster

We understand that it’s difficult to return to college after being away for a few years. Because adult learners face specific challenges, Lakeland Community College is partnering with other Ohio community colleges to offer a degree and support services to help adult learners make the transition back to college.

The Associate of Technical Studies (ATS) degree is unique because it takes into account your past academic and work experience, which can help you earn your degree faster. Students age 24 or older with some academic and work experiences are eligible for this fast track.

Benefits

  • Accelerated, flexible degree for busy adults
  • Credit for prior learning
  • Individualized program
  • Personal advisor on campus
  • Take courses from four Ohio Community Colleges
  • Degree transfer to three Ohio universities
