Learning offers a variety of classes that provide
hands-on technical skills. In the area of home
repair, classes include carpentry, plumbing,
paper and painting, and the repair of electrical
fixtures with recertification available for electrical
contractors. For those with a green thumb, classes
are offered in plant science, perennials, plant
nutrition, deciduous trees, and landscape equipment.
Certificates can be earned in Home Landscape
Maintenance and Turf Management.
For food service managers,
chefs, dietitians, and dietary managers, training
is offered through ServSafe® in all aspects
of handling and preparing food to ensure safety
and compliance with regulatory requirements.
