The Children and Youth
programs at Lakeland Community College are designed
to introduce younger students to Lakeland and provide
fun, fitness and education. These programs are
offered year round with extended programming during
the summer months.
During the summer months,
Lakeland offers a full schedule of camps for kids
and teens
including
day camps, sports camps, science camps, outdoor
camps, and more. Hundreds of area youths come
to Lakeland each summer and experience state-of-the-art
facilities and labs as well as certified instructors.
Extended hours, trips, lunch and snacks
are among some of the features included in some

Throughout
the year, Lakeland offers a variety of programs
for children
and teens in both academic
and leisure programs. We provide reading, math,
writing and study skills programs as well as
ballet, Aikido, Teen Fit and certification programs.
We
also offer classes in computer keyboarding, web
page design, cartooning, magic and juggling.
Regardless if your child seeks academic assistance
or is looking
to explore new areas of interest, we have a program
that will meet their needs.
