Financial assistance can be used to cover college expenses such as tuition, fees, books, supplies, transportation, room and board, and school related expenses such as child care and the purchase of a computer.
Be working toward a degree or certificate in an eligible program
Show you are qualified to earn a post-secondary degree
- Have a high school diploma or a General Education Development (GED) certificate
- Pass the Ability to Benefit test
Register with Selective Service if you are a male between the ages of 18 and 25
Maintain satisfactory progress once you are in school
