Ladders to Lakeland offers specialized programs designed to assist first year students start off on the right foot. Programs include:

• First Rung - for anyone without a GED
• Gateway - for male adult learners with no previous college experience
• Hispanic Leadership Program - Hispanic students
• Operation Clocktower - for veterans
• Pathfinders - for African American men
• SMART (Single Mothers Achieving Real Triumph) - for single mothers
• WISE (Women in Science & Engineering) - for women interested in science and engineering
