At Lakeland Community College, applying is an easy process.
Simply follow the steps below and you will be on the way to your future!
• Complete an application.
Applications
can be found online or on
campus at the Admissions Office. Call 440.525.7315 and ask for Jane.
• Submit your transcripts.
Contact your high school guidance counselor and/or former college Admissions
Office and request to have your transcripts sent directly to Lakeland’s
Admissions Office.
• Take the placement test.
If you do not have ACT/SAT scores, you can take the COMPASS Placement
test at Lakeland. Inquire about testing times by calling Jane at 440.525.7315.
• Make an appointment with a Lakeland Counselor.
Call Jane at 440.525.7315 to schedule an appointment. Lakeland’s
counselors will help you with admissions, academic, career, and personal
counseling. Counselors can also help you transfer to a four-year college/university.
• Complete Financial Aid information.
Students need to complete and submit a Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for federal student financial aid and
to apply for
most state and college aid. Lakeland scholarships are also available
for qualifying students. Inquire about financial aid or make an appointment
with a financial aid advisor by calling Jane at 440.525.7315.
