It all starts by contacting
the HCP
coordinator who
will identify the steps needed to enter
and advance
their career in the healthcare field.
This can include information on academic
counseling, registration, and/or financial
aid.
Enrollment in the program
is free. Students will have access to
career assessment
testing, and referrals to support services
such as child care, tutorial services,
and financial aid. Students in the
HCP program will meet with fellow students
in the program to discuss issues like
time management, study skills, and
preparing
cover letters and resumes.
The HCP
Coordinator can also provide referrals
to students who may encounter
barriers that interfere with their
ability to proceed with their educational
and
career goals.
