Lakeland Community College now offers outplacement
services to assist area employers with workforce reduction issues. The service
combines the unique resources of a community college with the expertise of leading
outplacement consultants. The program specializes in offering services to companies
wishing to offer effective outplacement to hourly workers or salaried employees
up to mid-level. Why Offer Outplacement?
Outplacement softens the blow of job loss and helps laid-off employees
transition as rapidly as possible to a new job. In addition to maintaining a good
corporate image, providing outplacement can be cost effective: it can shorten
the amount of time former employees collect unemployment benefits. Why

Our affordability makes us accessible to small employers as well as large
