PLEASE NOTE: At this time we are no longer taking any applications for the 2007 Science Academy. Thank you very much for your interest in the program and be sure to check back in 2008.

PHASE I – Intensive three-week summer course Everyday Chemistry (June 18 – July 6, 2007) course that enabled students to develop and apply chemical concepts to show the importance and relevance of chemistry in our daily lives.

PHASE II – Capstone course begins Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Lakeland Community College. The Capstone course will convene every 4th Saturday each month from October - April.
Capstone is an innovative educational experience that enables students to integrate previously learned concepts into broader theories and to build upon that knowledge as they explore a hypothesis through research, interviews, fieldwork and inquiry-based learning.
