Community College Survey of Student Engagement
(CCSSE) Results
The Community College Survey of Student Engagement
(CCSSE) asks questions about institutional practices and student behaviors
that are highly correlated with student learning and retention. CCSSE survey
results help colleges focus on good educational practices and identify areas
in which the college can improve their programs and services for students.
Over 66% of community colleges across the country
administer the survey.
In 2003, CCSSE
introduced five national benchmarks for effective educational practice in
community and technical colleges. The following data shows Lakeland’s
level of achievement.
