ATHLETICS

Lakeland competes in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) within Region XII of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Competition includes colleges from within the region of Ohio and Michigan, as well as independent contest opponents from New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, North Carolina, West Virginia and Florida.

We offer seven sports. Women's sports include basketball, softball and volleyball; men's sports include baseball, basketball, golf and soccer. Visit our team pages below.

Lakeland Hosts 7th Annual TJ Memorial Classic

KIRTLAND, Ohio - On Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15 Lakeland will host the 7th Annual TJ Memorial Classic inside the Athletic & Fitness Center.  The tournament features two days of competition between NJCAA programs from Ohio, Michigan, and New York and has been a fixture on campus since 2008.

Six Student-Athletes Named to Spring 2014 Dean's List

KIRTLAND, Ohio (May 28, 2014) - Six Lakeland Community College student-athletes were named to the dean's list after achieving a 3.5 GPA or higher during the spring semester.  The six student-athletes, three of which posted a 4.0 GPA, represent four different programs.
