Student Life at Lakeland

Our Student Engagement & Leadership (SEAL) program exists to enhance your life outside the classroom. We provide students with co-curricular opportunities to encourage leadership, personal and professional growth, and the embracing of human diversity.

SEAL oversees Student Government, the Campus Activities Board, more than two dozen student organizations and programs to promote an understanding and appreciation of diversity.

Learn more about some of the student organizations on campus or how to join the Emerging Leaders Program.

We promote activities for students to increase their involvement in campus life outside the classroom, coordinate new student orientation, administer student conduct, coordinate the Student Center Atrium Art Gallery exhibit, handle posting on bulletin boards around campus; and publish the Campus Connection enewsletter, the Student Handbook and Calendar and various booklets for student organization use. We provide opportunities to pursue an interest or talent in an organized environment with other students. To get involved or for more information feel free to contact us.
