Lakeland Community College provides an on-site childcare center for the children of students who are enrolled in credit classes at the college or at the Holden University Center.
Campus kids child care services are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Hours and availability are determined by staffing availability and student/teacher ratios set by state licensing agencies.
Located in the L-Building inside our Teaching Learning Center (TLC), the program serves children ages three to pre-K. The center requires that children be toilet trained at the start of the semester. Lakeland Community College student parent/caregiver will be required to provide their class schedule.
Lakeland's Campus Kids is licensed by the state of Ohio, accredited by NAEYC and is a Step Up To Quality Five Star Award center.

There is a $10 registration fee and the center charges $2.50 per hour per child.
Students who are interested in using the center for their child care needs and are eligible for financial aid are encouraged to include the costs in the funds needed for the semester.
To ensure the safety of our students, their children and our staff, we will follow guidance from the Ohio Department of Health and Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Currently, the reduced staff to child ratio is one teacher per ten children.
Students are required to provide their class schedule.
