The Lakeland Foundation partners with Lakeland Community College's Counseling Department to develop mobile apps for suicide prevention and mental health promotion and to make such apps (referred to here as "Foundation Apps") available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
Foundation Apps may collect certain data regarding app usage and combine it to show general trends for the purpose of app analytics and program evaluation, without identifying individuals within the data. Users are not asked to reveal their identity, create a user ID, or to submit information about themselves. Foundation Apps do not collect any personally identifiable information ("PII") nor provide any PII to any third party; nor do they target any individual for promotional purposes or advertising.
The Lakeland Foundation does not share any donor data with third parties. Any usage data collected by Foundation Apps is separate and unrelated to donor data held by The Lakeland Foundation.
Foundation Apps contain links to select websites that offer information and resources related to suicide prevention and mental health promotion. The Lakeland Foundation is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.
